“Coming to You” Film Screening & Discussion!

On Saturday Jan. 20, KSP was joined by participants, friends, and community members for a screening of the film Coming to You. Directed by Gyuri Byun, the 2021 documentary follows the story of two working class Korean mothers, whose respective children come out to them as gay and transgender. Upon hearing this news, the two mothers are challenged to unravel their preconceived notions about queerness, ultimately growing to accept their children’s LGBTQIA+ identities and becoming activists with PFLAG Korea.

We also spent time discussing the film and sharing yummy snacks together. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us!
