Learning how to Make 미역국 (Seaweed Soup) with Ms. Cathy!

On Tues, Feb. 27, KSP had a food-making workshop with the lovely Ms. Cathy! She taught us how to make miyeok-guk (미역국) or seaweed soup, a traditional Korean postpartum dish. Made with only a few ingredients, miyeok-guk is also popularly eaten on birthdays, honoring the mother who has given birth. KSP students, participants, and community members came together to learn how to make this delicious dish, and we ended our time by enjoying our homemade seaweed soup together!
