On Fri. April 29, on the 30th anniversary of the Los Angeles Civil Unrest, KSP Participant Eunice Shin co-moderated a fascinating panel with the @lapubliclibrary for actor and author @johnthecho’s new middle-grade novel, Troublemaker.

Former L.A.City Councilmember Michael Woo and filmmaker/researcher Carol Park joined John in celebrating the release of Troublemaker, which is set during the 1992 L.A. Uprising/Riots. This Future Ready Teens event was also co-moderated by the library's Teens Leading Change initiative.

Eunice is a high school senior at the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies and will be attending UC Berkeley in the fall as a Social Welfare major.
