Koreatown Stories
Every year, Koreatown Storytelling Program works with high school journalists and neighborhood older adults in Koreatown, Los Angeles, and its neighboring environment to celebrate and document their stories. Our curriculum includes in-depth workshops on oral history, journalism, photojournalism, community history, interview skills, technology how-tos, and dialogue around cultural traditions, immigration, and civil rights.

Land, Climate, and Environment (2025-2026)
KSP’s 2025–2026 cohort studied the topic of land, climate, and the environment. We interviewed community members from Koreatown, Pico-Union, and Westlake whose work and experiences speak to the intersections of environment, community, and place—including artists, educators, climate specialists, urban development professionals, and parks department workers. Through these perspectives, we gathered information and insights that help us understand how environmental issues shape our communities.
