Learning Bojagi (Traditional Korean Gift Wrapping)

On Saturday, March 7, KSP kicked off our new community arts workshop series with bojagi, or traditional Korean gift-wrapping. This workshop was led by Ellen Lee (aka @nossibojagi), a Los Angeles based bojagi artist who provides workshops around the city. She taught us about the history and tradition of bojagi, and showed us wrapping and knotting methods to create our own beautiful gift packages.

Thank you Ellen for leading this workshop and to everyone who joined us! These workshops are in collaboration with the Department of Public Health’s Substance Abuse Prevention and Control Bureau for their RYSE initiative.
