Learning How to Make Bengali Food

On Thursday, December 18, KSP held a Benglai Foodmaking Workshop led by Rozina Al Salem. Rozina is a celebrated foodmaker from Little Bangladesh, and she taught us how to make a delicious butter chicken masala. Using ingredients from Bangla Bazar, KSP students, staff, and community members followed her step-by-step instructions to cook the homemade meal.

Special thank you to Rozina for leading this workshop and to all the community members who joined us! This year, KSP will be conducting oral history interviews in Little Bangladesh to document personal narratives, cultural sites, and important histories in the community. Stay tuned for future projects and community workshops!
